Nichols "Stallion 38 & Dyna-Mite Derringer" Combination Set This is a RARE, beautiful, and HTF Nichols cap gun set. In the late 1950's Nichols introduced the "Stallion 38 with Dyna-Mite" combination packaged set. The set comes complete with a "Stallion 38" revolver with all six two-piece bullets, a "Dyna-Mite" derringer in clip with all three two-piece bullets, and a cardbord insert that states the contents of the set with a heading that reads "Double Play Value" and the Nichols Service Policy printed on the bottom of the insert. Both cap guns are MINT with unfired bullets and function as they should. The box and insert are in excellent plus/near mint condition. Nichols produced only two variations of combination sets, they are the "Stallion 38 & Dyna-Mite" and the "Stallion 45 MK II & Dyna-Mite". Civil War Centennial "The Northerner" Set This set is the RARE and almost never seen Civil War double holster set by Kilgore. There are several variations in the Kilgore "Southerner" and "Northerner" series of "Civil War Centennial" sets. Kilgore produced these sets to commemorate the 100 year anniversary of the Civil War years of 1861/1865 to 1961/1965. They were produced in sets in several sizes that contained small to large frame cap guns. Kilgore also used cap guns from other manufacturers to fill these sets. I have seen factory sealed sets that contained Kilgore, Hubley, and Classy cap guns. This set is a "Northerner" Set and comes complete with two stag gripped Kilgore "Lardeo" medium frame cap guns, blue leather double holsters that have white graphics with the words "Centennial," "Northerner," and "1861" on them. A matching blue leather belt with all six toy bullets and a faux $20.00 bill from the era. The contents are MINT and unplayed with. The card has water damage to the lower left corner as seen in the pictures and the hard celophane covering has split. Rare Gene Autry Double Set This is a seldom seen Gene Autry Double Holster with two Gene Autry 9-1/2 inch cap guns by Leslie-Henry. The holster is marked "Gene Autry" on the middle of the belt just below the bullets. It is very supple and in excellent condition with no rips, tears, or repairs. The cap guns have been cap fired, one more so than the other. One does show cap residue on the inside, the other only has a slight discoloration from firing caps. The finish is excellent plus on both cap guns. There are no chips, cracks, or warpage to the grips or frames of the cap guns. This "Gene Autry" model holster set does not become available very often and is seldom seen as most are in advanced collections. They were produced with either black or red grips with a matching color push button release for opening the cap gun to load roll caps.
